Coverage
- Film — 1 year from delivery: delamination, permanent hot spots, failure to switch
- Controller and remote — 1 year from delivery: electrical failure under normal use
- Installation workmanship — 90 days from the day we fit it: lifting edges, trapped bubbles, misalignment, or switching that fails because of the wiring we did. We come back and re-fit it, and replace any film damaged in doing so.
Not covered
- Damage from work done by anyone other than a TapTint fitter — film cut, trimmed, removed or re-laid by you or a third party
- Damage from car washes, ammonia-based cleaners, abrasive tools, or ice scrapers
- Damage from a vehicle electrical fault, or from a controller that did not come from TapTint
- Any product not purchased from taptint.com
How to claim
Email support@taptint.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a short description of when it started. We may ask for a short video of the switching behavior. Approved claims are replaced, not refunded. We pay shipping on approved warranty replacements.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
