How it works
Like bathroom glass with the power off. Give it power and you see straight through.
Power off - the light gets scattered
Millions of crystals, too small to see, lying at random angles with no power. Light hits them and scatters instead of coming straight through, so harsh sun turns soft and nobody can see in.
Power on - the light goes straight through
Power swings every crystal the same way, like the teeth of a comb. Light passes straight between them and the glass reads clear.
Proven at factory scale

Got the Highlander done right before the weather turns, garage was still warm enough to work comfortably. Already planning where the second kit will go, probably my partner's car next.

One year from delivery, covering delamination, permanent hot spots, failure to switch, and electrical failure of the controller or remote under normal use. See the Warranty page.
It reads see-through, but it is not identical to bare glass - some PDLC shows a slight haze.
30 days from delivery on uninstalled kits in original packaging. Once a panel is cut or applied, that panel is not returnable. Full terms in the Refund Policy.
We do. A certified fitter comes to your home or work, measures your glass, cuts the film, wires the controller, and tests it with you before leaving. Installation is included in the price.
That depends on the shade you chose, and the shade is permanent – it’s how your glass looks in both states. White is closest to bare glass and turns frosted translucent white when it’s off. Light Black keeps a visible tint at all times. Dark Black is deep enough that it stays dark day and night.
